I want to address this to all those who, seeing my political activity—as someone operating completely outside this treacherous system, for now a “marginal” political figure—say, “Enough talking, go do something.” I have addressed such immature people before, but I think it is necessary to do so once again, so there is no misunderstanding.
Let us begin with this: to found an organization from scratch, without any support, entirely on your own—as an unknown repatriate and an ordinary soldier—and through years of consistent work to gather a group of members, as well as thousands of supporters and sympathizers around the world—yes, it may not be heroism, but it is certainly not “just talking.” Those who see all of this as “just talking” are simply ignorant, because they have learned nothing from history or from the revolutionary movements that existed in history, which for a long time were “marginal,” and then, under the right circumstances and conditions, made a quantum leap and became a central force or came to power.
I cannot take seriously people who, without even lifting a finger, criticize me for “not taking action.” Such people are not only ignorant, but also spineless, cowardly, and short-sighted scoundrels, and people like them bear an enormous share of the blame for why we are in this situation today. They think that I should go “do something” for their entertainment, while they watch online and leave a few flattering comments.
Ten years ago, there were people who did the “action” they were calling for—and today they are in prison. I am referring, of course, to the seizure of the Police Patrol Regiment (PPZ) by the "Sasna Tsrer" group. I remember very well how tens of thousands of Armenians supported them in those days. At the time, I spoke out against that action (as a result of which many also spoke out against me), and to this day I believe it was a mistake—especially because I do not trust or accept the upper leadership of that movement at all. In any case, I am sure you also remember how social media was flooded with photos of Pavlik Manukyan and Varuzhan Avetisyan in support of them, but who remembers them today? Are those tens of thousands of Armenians who used Pavlik’s and Varuzhan’s photos on their profiles doing anything today for them or for their families, while they continue to spend their days in prison? They went and “took action”—so why has the public completely forgotten them and their activities?
Therefore, let me repeat once again, especially for those freeloading and lazy degenerates who consider me “just a talker”: I am not prepared to be a gladiator nor a donkey-martyr for an ungrateful mob. Let them understand whom they are speaking to and what they are accusing me of. I will continue, with my willpower, persistence, and consistent dedicated work, to develop the movement I founded and lead, so that one day it will be recognized by all Armenians as the only nationalist political movement in Armenia—through which it will be possible to create a national state and forge a national future.
