At Amberd
My ideological brothers,
Many people would wonder why we decided to organize our first expedition here at Amberd. That question has a very simple answer. Amberd, for us and all Armenians, is not only a historic fortress but also a national symbol that represents security, strength, and invincibility.
Amberd with its own name indicates to us that we should always strive to reach the height of the heavens, no matter how much our enemies want to bring us to our knees. The more they try to get us to our knees, the better they will realize that the Armenian nation anointed with Vahagn's fire cannot last long on its knees and will sooner or later get back on its feet.
Amberd was built and served as a fortress, especially in the Middle Ages, when our nation was fighting bloody struggles to maintain our newly acquired kingdom and independence. This fact reminds us that by following the example of our ancestors, we must do the same in these dire times when the borders of our fatherland, our independent statehood, and the existence of our nation are endangered.
Amberd also sets an example with its firmness, that we should remain firm during these and the more difficult days to come, by being confident that the spirits of our heroic ancestors are with us and guiding us on our struggle, so that we can meet and overcome all the challenges before us and destroy all the enemies that threaten us. Our enemies will not be able to escape our coming wrath, which will send a shiver down their spines.
For centuries, hundreds of different peoples lived around Armenia and almost entirely disappeared, completely losing their homeland and state, but our nation, passing through countless persecutions and even a genocide, showed the will to stay on its land and fight to restore its statehood. Many empires that fought against us got destroyed and disappeared, but Armenia continued to remain on the map, because Armenia was as unshakable as Amberd fortress.
We often see how many ideologically false and misleading political movements are born almost every week, which do not even last a month, because they are just a house of cards that collapse with just one exhalation. However, our ideological, farsighted and decisive approach is completely different. Our approach is such that modern Armenian history has never seen before.
Just as Amberd was built by putting stone on top of stone, so will we consistently build our movement by putting stone on top of stone, because it is clear to us that if we do not have an ideological movement built on a solid foundation, we will not be able to steadily develop our movement and build the national state that our ancestors dreamed of and that our future generations will be proud of.
We cannot do all this without sacrifices. There is no easy way to solve our problems and achieve our goals, and anyone who says there is such an easy way is just a lying scoundrel and those who seek such easy solutions are doomed to fail.
We should be well aware of all this especially during these times, when we are surrounded by enemies on both sides, and the Turkish yatagan is once again threatening Syunik, which forms the backbone of our country. The Creator may forgive us for losing Artsakh, but he will definitely not forgive us if we lose Syunik. He will not forgive us, because if we lose Syunik, we will lose everything, as a result of which we will no longer have a chance to redeem ourselves.
Syunik is currently at the center of a clash of civilizations, and it can be considered the " Thermopylae" of modern history - the gate between the savage hordes and the civilized world. If we lose Syunik, we will lose our statehood, after that we will lose our place under the Sun, then Pan-Turan will become a reality and Aryan civilization will be destroyed completely.
The tyrant of Baku, as well as all our other enemies who collaborate with him and stand behind him, want this, but we will not allow it. Keeping Syunik as strong as the Amberd fortress, we will pave the way to liberate Artsakh and bring it back, once again instilling terror in our enemies. We will show them that the Armenian spirit has not been broken and will not be broken, as long as the unbreakable potential to fight for freedom and independence remains alive in us.
Therefore, our struggle is not only to protect and preserve our sovereignty and independence, but also a struggle to protect righteousness and civilization from the enemies of humanity, which will end with the crushing defeat of our enemies and the final victory of the Armenian Armed Forces.
However, we will not make false promises and we will not deceive our compatriots, we know and say clearly that we have very difficult days ahead of us. Difficult days, but also historical times, which our movement will be a part of. We are moving forward through a dark tunnel, but we can be certain that there is a light on the other side of the tunnel, and with our movement we have a duty to show our compatriots the way to that light, and that path can be passed only by struggling, sacrificing, fighting and never surrendering.
Let us stay strong by keeping alive in our minds the indomitable appearance and unique history of Amberd fortress.
Powerful army, impregnable borders, steadfast Fatherland! This is our new battle cry.
