Volunteering for war and going to the front line is not automatically heroism — it is a duty. Not every soldier standing at the border is a hero, just as not every athlete who takes part in the Olympic Games is a champion. We must not devalue heroism or the word “hero.” Heroism is measured not simply by going to war, but by what degree of feats are carried out on the battlefield when the opportunity presents itself.

Still, in these days let us remember all the brave men and heroes who fell and were martyred during the 44-day treacherous war that started five years ago. Sadly, they are not with us today, but let us, by the blessing of their spirit, unite, organize, and prepare for the coming decisive struggle and for victory in the next war, so we can show the world that the blood they shed was not in vain. Our future victory will be forged in their memory.
