Various political analysts in the international media truly understand only the surface of what is actually happening in Armenia. The overwhelming majority of them, if not all, constantly insist that the current government in Yerevan genuinely wants to pull Armenia away from Russia and integrate it into the European Union. Either they are deliberately spreading such disinformation and making incomplete analyses for some purpose, or they simply have not looked deeply enough into the events and the bigger picture.

Who can seriously believe that a clownish, schizophrenic yellow-press journalist, supposedly “anti-Russian” and “pro-Western,” could come to power in Armenia within just a month by singing and dancing, commit a massive betrayal during the war, and then remain prime minister for so many years while consolidating his rule without any intervention from the Kremlin? If his policies were truly harmful to the Kremlin, then how has he managed to stay at the head of the state for eight years when more than half of the population hates him? Is the “superpower” Russia unable to remove the Supreme Scarecrow from power in eight years? How can a leader who betrayed Artsakh and now fetishizes the map of Soviet Armenia—essentially taking pride in his defeat and betrayal—possibly free us from Russia’s deadly grip and liberate Armenia from this Russian-Turkish cage?

Sorry, but a person would have to be politically immature to still believe such nonsense after all these years and after everything that has happened. Perhaps believing this enormous lie can be excused for foreigners, but not for Armenians, especially those involved in politics. One cannot afford to think in such a shortsighted and simplistic way. Anyone who honestly believes all of this is swallowing the Kremlin’s fabricated narrative whole. Any political figure in Armenia who spreads such falsehoods is either carrying out a direct assignment from Moscow or should stay kilometers away from politics, because they only cause harm and pour water into the enemy’s mill.

Everything the current traitorous neo-Bolshevik government does is done with the Kremlin’s permission and covert support, because it serves the long-term goals of the Russian Empire—to turn Armenia into so-called “Western Azerbaijan.” We must wake up and understand what is really happening. Enough with self-deception and living in illusions. It is time to confront the bitter reality.
