Nearly four years have passed since Russia...

Nearly four years have passed since Russia began its war against Ukraine, and during these years thousands of Armenians living in Russia have been sent to Eastern Europe and have died for nothing. According to various sources, this number has already exceeded ten thousand—more than twice the number of casualties during the treacherous 44-day war.

This raises an obvious question: why do no media outlets or analysts in Armenia clearly emphasize this tragedy or consistently publish the associated figures? This could have been a strong opportunity to encourage our compatriots to remain and live in Armenia instead of emigrating to Russia (or any other country), so that their sons serve in the Armenian Army, since remaining in Armenia ultimately proves to be safer. By spreading this crucial information, it would be possible not only to reduce the number of emigrants, but also to encourage Armenians living in Russia to return to Armenia.

Is this fact being deliberately concealed because all major media outlets in Armenia and the overwhelming majority of analysts are Russophile neo-Bolsheviks, who know very well that if people begin to learn this reality, the servile myth that “by becoming part of Russia we will be safer” will collapse. The treasonous and anti-Armenian media, which receive their instructions from Moscow, are well aware that publishing such facts would accelerate the growth of already existing anti-Russian sentiment among the population. People would understand that the Kremlin has sent—and continues to send—our compatriots to slaughter for the sake of its imperial interests.

By recognizing this reality, the more conscious and intelligent among our compatriots will arrive at the conclusion that having and preserving independence is the best way to live safely. If we do not fight and shed blood for our independence, we will be forced to serve as cannon fodder for the interests of foreign states and empires. Therefore, the struggle for independence is necessary to guarantee a safe and prosperous future for our coming generations, because there is no independence without security, and no security without independence.
