I am sometimes asked whether I would wish to take upon myself the leadership of the Armenian state. My answer has always been the same: I wish for the leadership of Armenia to be assumed by a nationalist and principled leader—a devoted individual who has proven his patriotism through the example of his personal life and his deeds. Someone, who has absolutely no ties to this corrupt neo-Bolshevik system and the "former" and "current" trash associated with it. I wish for such a leader to be a man who truly believes in his words, stands firmly by them, and proclaims the truth—telling our compatriots what they must hear, not what they wish to hear. Armenia is in need of a leader who does not evade personal responsibility and who is prepared to serve our nation, the Fatherland, and our independent statehood with self-sacrifice and unwavering resolve—whether by pen or by sword—for only such leadership can lift our country from its defeated and humiliating condition and open the path toward the building of a Greater Armenia.

As for me, if by fate and by the will of the Creator such a responsibility is ever placed upon my shoulders, I will do everything to honorably fulfill all my duties and mission. Within the limits of my abilities, I will strive to serve as a positive example for future generations, who will also one day take on the leadership of our state.
