Before entering politics, a person must embrace a noble ideology...

Before entering politics, a person must embrace a noble ideology, uphold the truth, and be prepared to sacrifice personal pleasures and interests to make their vision a reality—no matter how difficult or impossible it may seem in the moment. Without this, they will inevitably become vulnerable to corruption. It is precisely this lack that causes the overwhelming majority—even those who are diligent, patriotic, good husbands, and good fathers in their private lives—to succumb to corruption once they step into the political arena.

Such people are easily swayed and corrupted, regardless of their will, and often without even realizing that they have transformed from a politician into a political prostitute—simply because they were unprepared for the path ahead. Valuing truth and carrying a noble ideology shields us and renders us invulnerable in this polluted, debased political landscape—just as a radioactive protective suit shields a person from a radioactive swamp. Without such an ideology, anyone entering politics is walking a path of self-destruction, discrediting themselves like an explorer without a compass in the wilderness, lost and tumbling toward the abyss.

I have lived in Armenia for nine years, and during this time, numerous parties, organizations, and “movements” have tried to recruit and use me. Over the past four years, as I have engaged in politics, countless attempts have been made to “collaborate” with me in order to dismantle what I have built. All of them have failed—and all will continue to fail. No one has been able, and will never be able, to divert me from the path I have chosen, because from the age of 14, I possessed a clear worldview, which over the years has been sharpened and firmly rooted within me.

Many may label my unwavering nature as “extremism,” and when they hear my name, they may associate it with words like “unrealistic,” “fascist,” “dreamer,” “radical,” “fanatic,” or “romantic.” But they will never associate it with words like liar, traitor, sell out, scoundrel, or opportunist. Those in politics who lack a firm ideology and compromise their dignity for temporary fame or wealth will never achieve true success in the long run. Meanwhile, those with steadfast principles, who resist such falsehoods, will hold the future of politics in their hands.
