Any new, small, and “marginal” political movement should remember the following Latin saying: “Sic Parvis Magna”, which means "Greatness from small beginnings."
This saying is associated with Sir Francis Drake — a man who was born in modest circumstances but became one of the key figures in world history. He was the first Englishman to circumnavigate the globe and became famous for his attacks on Spanish ships and ports. Drake played a crucial role in the defeat of the Spanish Armada in 1588 and was knighted. He did not inherit a great name, wealth, or power — he created them through determination, risk-taking, and persistent struggle.
Drake’s life reminds us of one simple truth: a small beginning is not weakness, but a trial. Whoever is not afraid to start small is the one who, over time, becomes great.
