In Armenia’s deplorable political landscape and farcical media sphere, why is nobody calling for Gevorg Gevorgyan’s release or, at the very least, a reduction of his sentence?

The freeloading political prostitutes and journalists who spend their time kissing the asses of Russophile oligarchs are constantly eager to declare this or that fake clergyman, Mishik’s little lapdog, or some other anti-Armenian scumbag a political prisoner, yet they cannot utter a single word about this young Armenian.

This fact speaks volumes and once again exposes just how treacherous and corrupt this entire Neo-Bolshevik system really is.

In Russia, 23-year-old ethnic Armenian (and Armenian citizen) Gevorg Gevorgyan has been sentenced to 9.5 years in prison for posting critical remarks about Russia online. In his post, he accused Russia of betraying Armenia during the treacherous 44-day war and wrote that “Hitler should have exterminated them all.”
