What do we mean when we use the slogan “This Time — The World”?

It is a declaration of breaking the chains of the past. For centuries, we struggled simply to survive, confined to our internal troubles. “This Time — the World” means we reject small mindedness, the victim mindset, and merely just being on the defensive. It means we are finally prepared once again to become a force to be reckoned with and to step onto the global stage.

It is the elevation of our national ambition. This slogan reminds our people that the Armenian Question is not restricted to the borders of today’s Republic of Armenia. The Armenian nation possesses the intellectual, geopolitical, and spiritual capacity to play a very important role in international affairs.

It is the outward expression of our political struggle on a global arena. The world is shifting; power centers are destabilizing, and the superpowers stand at the edge of collapse. “This Time — The World” means we will not wait for others to decide our fate. We will enter the geopolitical arena with our own agenda to shape our own future, because we are masters of our own destiny.

It is the restoration of our triumphant spirit. The slogan shatters the mentality of defeat and surrender. It sends a message to our people and to the world that Armenians have the right not only to survive, but to triumph, prosper, expand, and shape civilization itself.

“This Time — The World” means that our liberation struggle will, this time, gain global recognition — from our highlands igniting the spark of a new awakening for Europe and for all Mankind. It reminds us that our struggle in the last century was left unfinished — but this time, before the whole world, with our iron will, we will bring it to a victorious completion…
