The so-called "democracy" (or more accurately, democratic dictatorship) is a failed system of governance because it contradicts the laws of nature...

The so-called "democracy" (or more accurately, democratic dictatorship) is a failed system of governance because it contradicts the laws of nature. It is a failure because a state can never be truly led by the majority. The reality is entirely the opposite: the majority can only be effectively governed by a state composed of leaders. The majority can never determine what the correct course of action should be. When decision-making is left to the majority, almost always the wrong decision will be made, and the clearest example of this was seen during the 2018 "Velvet revolution" in Armenia. Benjamin Franklin aptly described democracy when he said, "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote."

Democracy, both theoretically and practically, is not only a failed system that leads our society, civilization, and nation toward destruction but is also entirely a falsehood and illusion, especially in the modern world. This is because the majority is primarily influenced by media bosses (who are also massive capitalist oligarchs), and they indirectly decide who should be the candidates for leadership in any given country. This is why, particularly in this era, democracy always degenerates into democratic dictatorship or mob rule.

The governance system envisioned by our movement is "arkayapetutyun" - a state governed by leaders, which would be a proper and logical combination of a constitutional monarchy and republic.

Now, many might ask, "we agree on this, but why do you want to operate within a system you consider corrupt and failed, and how do you intend to come to power legally within this corrupt system?" That is an excellent question worth addressing. Yes, democracy is indeed the best way to bring the worst people to power, especially during relatively peaceful and stable times. However, we operate within this system and play by its rules because we realistically have no other choice. Nevertheless, we fully understand that this system is a house of cards and inherently unstable. During times of chaos and crisis, such a flawed system develops cracks, which must be seized upon by dignified national political figures. At the right moment when those cracks start to become prevalant, the right individuals can legally come to power to prevent treasonous scoundrels from taking over and subjecting all of Armenia to the same fate as Artsakh.

The coming chaos and crisis are inevitable, which is why we must prepare for it consistently and resolutely.
