It is a human right to believe in whatever one wishes. One may be Christian, pagan, gnostic, or a follower of any other creed, but whatever that creed may be, it must ultimately serve the development of the nation, the prosperity of the Fatherland, and the strengthening of the state. Otherwise, it is worthless. If a given creed does not help the Armenian better serve our supreme values, then it should have no place in our lives.

Nzhdeh was absolutely right when he said: “For a soldier, the only true creed is the one that gives him the moral strength and courage to fight and, if necessary, to die for the Fatherland.”
