Eight years ago today, I moved from my birthplace, the United States, to Armenia with a one-way ticket. This day has become a celebration for me, as it reminds me of the moment I left everything behind and started a new life.

Most people thought I’d stay for about six months and then return to the U.S., because disappointed with the people here. But they saw that a year after arriving, I joined the army for service. When I joined the army, they said I’d go back after becoming disillusioned with military life, but then they saw me volunteer for the war.

After the devastating defeat in the war, they assumed I’d lose hope and go back, but a year after that defeat, they saw me single-handedly, without any assistance, establish a new national political movement. When I entered politics, they said I’d soon grow disillusioned and leave to the US. However, nearly three years into politics, I am continuing to grow the movement with the goal of achieving victory by 2033 and coming to power through legal means. The doubters have gradually diminished.

I can't blame the doubters, nor do I hold any resentment towards them, because they didn't realize they were dealing with an Armenian "madman" )))
